Farmer’s Daughter Femme Fatale

Ashley is a farmer’s daughter femme fatale– really, her beautiful mom grew up on a farm in Ohio- who has had a life-long love affair with creativity- singing, dancing, writing, directing, and acting her face off since being knee high to a grasshopper- and it has led her down a very joyous path.

This tough cookie hit a bit of a road bump at age 12 when she was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a type of childhood bone cancer. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation but thankfully came out healthy and happy on the other side. She had the amazing opportunity to be a Make-A-Wish kid at the 2002 Tony Awards and sat front row center!

Reinforced with the love of her family and a tube of red lipstick, she matriculated and earned a degree in Musical Theatre & Directing from Point Park University. She became an international woman of mystery when she had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in jolly ole’ London. As an adventurous vagabond she feasted on invaluable lessons about her craft, herself, and the world at large.

This spicey-dicey dame quickly landed an agent in the City of Angels and now calls Greater L.A. home. Being a thriving artist, she wakes up every day thanking her lucky stars to be living the dream. Looking into the near and distant future, living with passion and compassion is really her goal. There will be inspiring pursuits involving the following: acting, singing, dancing, directing, laughing, producing, writing, owning a restaurant to feed the homeless, advocating for cancer research, and being a philanthropic do-gooder for social and environmental causes.

In the meantime she is busy creating opportunities, working harder than ever, smiling openly at strangers, and surrounding herself with good people. So if you see her, be quick to smile- you won’t regret it and she certainly won’t forget it.
